Tracey Frugoli grew up knowing she would be an artist. She earned a B.A. in Fine Arts, later a Master's Degree in Art Therapy, and worked in that field for 11 years before turning to painting full time.
Identifying with the American and French Impressionists, Frugoli is inspired by light and beauty. She views the painting process as a humbling endeavor that seeks to reflect and thereby enhance the most noble of our ideals.
Among her many awards, Frugoli won First Place in the 2005 Plein Air-Easton! Quick Draw, and Best Architectural Painting in the main competition, in Easton, Maryland. In 2007, she won the Academy Art Muesum Purchase Award at the Brunch, and Tracey will be back to pain in the 2008 competition.
