Marti Bailey studied Commercial Art at Missouri State College and has painted through her adult years in oil, pastel, and acrylic. Though she does large works, Marti is well known for her miniature paintings. Marti says, “even the smallest detail can be a thing of beauty when studied up close with an eye for color and depth.”
Marti’s award winning work was chosen for inclusion in Book Art Press’s “New Art International 2004-2005,” and has been featured several times in “Art Business News.” Most recently, her work was included in the 2007 book "Best of American Oil Artists and Artisans". Marti's paintings are in numerous private and corporate collections, and have been juried into many shows and competitions.
